Technical Support & Development / Gunbot 16 less stable and bought issues
« Last post by Charunks on January 17, 2020, 01:29:43 PM »
Hello,

Is there a way to report bugs? Ive recently used gunbot 16 and found it had some quirks over v15.

For one the bot seems less stable, when i click on a pair in the dashboard to zoom in on the pair (see candlesticks, and options to manual trade) the bot can 'soft' crash ("spit out only errors, do nothing else").

In addition, the bot seems to 'soft' chrash after some time, It spits out data on undefined parameters etc.

Also I have noticed that at times the bot can not find buy data on a pair that it found no trouble with before. It reports in (dashboard, active pairs) that the bought_price was altered. The trade can not be found back in the recent trades (dashboard active trades), even though it was there before. After manually adding a bought price, the bot says there are no coins in the bag (Dashboard, active pairs), and so it is looking to buy, while there is a substantial bag in the wallet (Dashboard, wallet). I can only resolve this by manually selling the pair, which is somewhat ok when the coin is up. While the coin is down, this is costing money.

regards

Thanks a lot :)
Missed that option, I was searching something on global parameter, not on pair.

I have no reseller. I bought Gunbot directly from Gunthy way back in version 3 days.

On the plus side I took your suggestion and disabled multiple base. That helped.
It still cannot perform a market order but it is able to generate its own orders now without falling over, so thanks for the advise

One of my customers had the exact same error and it was fixed disabling "Multiple base". Most likely it will fix your problem, else it would need to take a deep look to your settings to find the problem. In that case your best bet is to contact your reseller and send him your settings so he can take a look at them.

Further information seems to indicate that its directly related to placing a market order.
Gunbot seems to want a price on a trade type that doesnt need or allow a price.

It would be nice if a developer would respond to this

Attempts to place a market order also blows an error.
It says the price argument is invalid. One doesnt have to put in a price on a market order.

If I place a limit order it works as I provide a price on a limit order.
I would have thought that Gunbot whould know the current price in order to put it into the market order

Crypto Sight is included with the bot and it helps to track the results. Ask you reseller for help installing it. It's easy and very useful  :)

Try making a manual purchase using dollars, then sell the btc back to dollars. Then Gunbot will have a reference price.

If you added 2 apis and both of them don't exist or are invalid, you will need your reseller to help you swaping the api key. You always need to have at least 1 working api linked in order to be able to add apis yourself.
